The Tibetan Oracle, Ancient Wisdom for Everyday Guidance
This 12th century Tibetan manuscript, translated into English for the first time, reveals a divination system used by monks to answer the urgent practical questions of laypeople. The esoteric knowledge of the Tibetans taught them that nature is constantly changing. Going against the elemental forces, personified by four gods (Yama/Wind, Agni/Fire, Varuna/Water and Indra/Earth) could mean disaster, while taking advantage when these forces are favourable results in success. The "Tibetan Oracle" consists of sixty-four readings which are surprisingly direct, considering they have not been altered for over 800 years. The set contains three rectangular-style dice, a velvet carrying pouch and a book containing English translations of "The Tibetan Oracle."
