Dear Owen,
I wanted to write a few words about the benefits of your reading (1/14/99). A few historical prefatory statements are in order:
In May 1996, after a number of years of incapacitating physical problems, I was diagnosed with a congenital brain abnormality. Unfortunately that news was also heralded by a severe reaction to the dye used for diagnostic studies. Almost overnight I went from being a functioning adult to being considered totally and permanently disabled. Radical, further debilitating, brain surgery was considered to be my only option. I declined.
Although by January 1999 I had made substantial progress, I was also exhausted and housed little hope about my ability to endure ruthless, relentless, cascading and overwhelming stress that accompanied being so impaired. That’s where you came in, Owen.
I had a reading. It was comprehensive and enlightening. Your genuineness, intent, caring and listening skills were palpable. By the end of the session, HOPE FLICKERED A WEE BIT HIGHER and a concrete plan had been initiated.
What’s equally amazing is that since that time, without and significant alteration in my "treatment plan", MY WILL TO LIVE HAS INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY. And, whether coincidental or otherwise, a number of mammoth economic challenges that I’d been "spinning my wheels" with seem to be rapidly resolving. Much that seemed impossible before the reading now seems more manageable. To attribute all these changes directly to the reading would require a boldness that I’m not able to claim. However, I’m absolutely convinced that my increase in HOPE is the direct result of the reading. That in itself is a GEM BEYOND COMPARE. As for the rest, time will tell. I’m also confident that with time I will be able to discern with greater clarity and certitude the full impact of working with you.
