Armageddon or a Second Coming?
de Sabato seems in full agreement with Edgar Cayce and Jeane Dixon (another 20th century seer) that the "messiah" is here and will be revealed in 1999. All three speak of a massive increase in individual psychic experiences, an awakening to the true power of our "holy spirit", our "psychic selves" And most of the prophets allude to this time as being "the end of the world as we know it".
Are we approaching the biblical "second coming"? Whether in flesh or as through a mass spiritual awakening, most of the prophets seem to agree that, in fact, we are.
For de Sabato, the "window of great change" that he saw open in 1993, closes in 2021.
Through great upheaval, he sees us (as a collective) beginning a new age of peace. According to him, we (as a collective) seem to figure a few things out. There seems a new respect for the value of all life (which really may be the point of all of this upheaval) and new understanding of the true human condition.
It seems to me that although many see the change times as quite dark and destructive, they all hold tremendous hope for the future of humankind.
The purpose of the prophets and their prophecy is to alert us all to the potential consequences of our collective actions - giving us some time to change. These folks (and many others) use their field of vision to warn us and to tell us that we do have the will and the power to change our world and our future.
