2007, Tones of the Times

With this 9 year, we'll be focused on finishing things, endings, completions, 2007 is a great year for getting things done, clearing out cupboards, closets, basements and garages. We should see a lof of emphasis on services this year, and also compassion for others...but we also see some serious issues with the environment - we'll be asked to make sacrifices for the greater good... Finally, governments worldwide are taking the problem of global warming seriously.

In Numerology, 2007 is a "9" year, a year when integrity, compassion and service to others takes precedence. Money could come through some myseterious source, and the "haves" in life will be called upon - and be more willing to tend to the needs of the "have nots".
On the negative side, in a nine year, we may find our leaders refusing to accept nature's limitations... and this year could get to feeling a lot like a roller coaster ride, a time of intense highs and lows. We will see disputes arise at all levels of our society, whether over territory, or outmoded ways.
In an "8" year, we are especially focused on completion, finishing projects, and yes, even relationships. While this will probably be a good year to find a mate, we will probably also see more divorces this year than usual.
We are indeed ending a cycle with this 9 year. A significant shift is upon us... in the midst of a cycle of tribulationtakes us through to 2012... The Big Stories for 2007
Every time I thought of working on the predictions for 2007, an image of a huge wave would come to me... perhaps not as large as a tsunami, but large enough to swallow a small building by the time it hits land. It appeared to be travelling north west, and it was in an unusual place... it was cold, either early morning or at dusk and in some place like the north Atlantic or even the Arctic Ocean up around Alaska. It comes as a result of an underwater eruption and appears to be a signal of even more severe breaks to come.
One of the other images that kept coming was objects falling from the skies... fragments of comets in the Photon Belt falling through rooves. There could be a problem with one of the satellites flying around earth, and this could be a year when we see an inexplicable increase in accidents in the air.
Castro's face kept appearing as I looked ahead and with it the message that one of the last bastions of the old communist regime was about to fall. It seems unlikely that he can defeat his recent illness and what strikes me is that he has been so adamant that he is still n charge because there is really no other strong leader left in his regime. He fears that the people will rise up again and in the demand for democracy, Cuba will fall into chaos. Unfortunately, given the energy of this Red Fire Pig year, his fears could very well be realized. Which of course will cause some grave concern in the US.
Women are taking a stronger role as leaders in the next cycle, and in interesting ways. For example, Oprah is leading the way for many others to reach out and help Africans. Women are gaining strength, the Goddess energy rising and we will see this in a multitude of wonderful ways.... women in small rural communities working together to raise their standard of living, women reaching out to other women to stop abuse, women in corporate America mentoring their younger colleagues. This is the time when we women's strength and creativity can be recognized as never before!
2007 is a year to expect the unexpected... including unexpected turmoil, havoc... we will be forced to deal with undesirable situations, issues we've been avoiding, whether in politics or the environment. We will see some real frustrations in global relationships...new circumstances to deal with cause shifts in attitudes and alliances break up over differing opinions...
On the upside, we could also see some unexpected developments that are very exciting, like discovering a new source of energy or a cure for diabetes. August could be a great time for such an announcement to come forth. And while we may be dealing with numerous environmental disasters over the coming months, we see a real interest in sharing, helping others. We see weath being distributed or disbursed.
Co-operation at global levels prevents another serious terrorist attack, and tightens the noose around pornographers and drug barons.
This is the year to invest in the environment. With global warming getting so much attention, we will see any industries associated with the environment gain in value.
Gas prices hold at moderately higher levels,
Travel and tourism gain strengtht this year, folks are on the move! A new player leads the way with some innovative new travel programs... we feel an acceleration in the air traffic business.
The aitomitive industry continues to struggle through 2007, but there are hints of recovery as the year closes.
Stock Markets around the world will be kept very busy, prices rising through the first 8 or 9 months of the year, but beware a serious dip that could appear come October.
The most significant health issues I believe this year are weather-related. Extreme weather conditions that cause major storms, that leave without electricity or good water... a killing heat in drought-ridden parts of the world, earthquakes that rupture gas, sewage and water lines, in some cases permanently....We see water in short supply - many regions without good water for extended periods.
Famine may be the predominant health issue...with the environment creating challenges in many parts of the world, food supplies are also cut off, crops destroyed.... but there is also some real concern showing here for a dangerous new virus to present itself, a permutation of a known virus that until now had been considered relatively harmless.
One of the signficant messages that came through with these predicitons was that temporary blindness will forces a series of mistakes... and I felt this applies especially to the environnment.... folks risk being self-absorbed and unaware of what is really going on around them... the image that keeps coming is "dancing as the Titanic sinks".
As I came to write on the environment, and to comment on the world's hot spots, I hit a wall... the sense that there are so many hot spots appearing around the world this year. Mother Earth is picking up speed as she shifts her weight and changes her appearance...
