* Within the Royal Family: Prince William may announce his love and commitment to a lovely girl – perhaps engagement is being indicated here. Will be seen on more public appearances. Prince Harry shows his sincere interest in the military and begins studies and/or training in a military academy in early 2005. Health issues seem to arise for the Queen – doesn't seem to make it back to 100% health. No deaths thank goodness.
* Many indications here of a medical advancement/discovery – seems to originate from a scientist/doctor in Switzerland.
* Southwestern US receives record amounts of rain in the spring of 2005.
* Much uneasiness within Mother Earth Herself. Much trembling – earthquakes in Western US, China, Brazil. Violence elsewhere (Middle East?) will be abruptly stopped due to massive earthquakes. An avalanche in Europe with loss of life. Volcanic eruptions from three different countries make the news. California to suffer massive natural disaster.
* Laws are passed allowing US citizens to travel to neighboring countries of Canada and Mexico to enable them to buy more affordable medications. Possible amendments (for the good) seen to current American Healthcare system.
* Stock Market (DOW, NASDAQ, S&P) up in early 2005. The stock markets fall either at very end of 2005 or beginning of 2006.
* A tragedy (crash/explosion) at a US airport in Spring/Summer months.
* I fear much civil unrest within the US in late Summer 2005. Political talks for some reason cause much upset throughout the population (causes much distaste). But is due to more possible terrorist threats/attacks. Terrorism once again feels to be a main fear within all hearts across the US. US citizens becoming angry at the President for keeping troops away from home when they prefer to have them at home for their own security. Very angry protests and uprisings seen in Washington. A sense of a terrorist event involving US water systems or over water. Events also being sensed within southern US tourist attractions/destinations. Getting the sense that this was tried before by terrorists but was somehow stopped. Will be tried again when "it is least expected." Terrorist attacks also possible in Japanese trains systems and/or subways. The war on terrorism as a whole seems to be once again on the rise, where emotions are running at an all-time high - but also where I do feel that Canada may get involved with the talks and actions this time around.
* More spiritual and psychic awareness around the world – particularly within the US and Canada – by the end of 2005 to perhaps early 2006. Emphasis on more “new-age” religions, Earth/Mind/Body practices, populations throughout wishing for more “peaceful” times. This will blossom over the upcoming years with people trying to implement more peaceful ways of handling even the worst of crimes, terrorism, and so on; with most emphasis being placed on group meditations, etc. Definitely a much higher level of the minds will start to be used quite frequently.
* Canada starts to receive much more recognition and admiration than previously seen over the last 10 years or so. Canada's reputation of being a “wonderful country” continues to grow. However, immigration to Canada seems to be brought to at least a temporary halt by the government, as immigration numbers seem to continuously rise out of control.
* Scandals seen within the Canadian government – in regards to Social Housing, OntarioWorks (welfare), and Children's Social Services. Light is being cast upon the darkest of corners within these particular agencies – true colors are being shown. The sense of these agencies not doing what they are supposed to, yet also doing what they are NOT supposed to will come to light. Public outcry for bettering the systems will be heard and seen.
* The NHL strike seems to cease in early to mid-Summer of 2005.
* Russia and its leadership starts to receive much headlines and news. Protests from Britain and the US against Russian political actions are indicated.
* New children's author emerges and receives recognition for their particular writing style and new book series. Likes to use much humor to hold a child's attention.
* Elizabeth Taylor makes the news. Michael Jackson faces more controversy and/or health issues.* Exciting news from space exploration (Mars I believe - a new formation discovered that perhaps supports the theory of life elsewhere).
* Tougher laws implemented in Canada for animal abuse, repeat offenders of crime, and littering. The idea to increase the legal age for purchasing tobacco products and alcohol is introduced in Canada.The Canadian Young Offender's Act will be reviewed - and may even be considered by the US to enforce tougher laws against gang violence, etc amongst teens. The idea of imposing curfews in some major US cities may also be brought up in US government talks.
* Unfortunately and quite sadly, yet another animal may be placed on the endangered species list later in the year of 2005.
