How to Calculate Your Numbers

Birth Date Numbers

Calculating one's birth date is very simple. Add up all of the numbers, until you come to one root number.

Example:  Dec. 7, 1969 becomes: (1+2+7+1+9+6+9) = 35 which become (3+5) = 8, a lucky number for business

Birth Name Numbers

There are two basic methods for calculating your birth name number, depending on which system you use for assigning values to the letters of the alphabet.  The Western system is the most recent and uses the number 9.  The Chaldean is the oldest system and assigns the numerical value of a letter based on its sound.

CHALDEAN/KABBALAH METHOD is said to be only true and reliable system. It was originated by ancient Chaldeans, passed on to the Hebrews. The knowledge became part of the Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism/mystical tradition).  This system of numerological calculation was taught to Jesus by the Essenes.

Western/Pythagorean Method doesn’t work as well because the values aren’t based on sound vibration – the Western system is considered more of a "Parlour Game", partly because it doesn’t emphasize compound numbers (destiny).

There is scientific rationale correlating sound vibration with organic patterns.Pythagoras (Greek philosopher & mathematician 2,500 yrs ago) devised a system of numerological calculation that was lost when he fell from favour. Some years later a student of his assigned numbers to the letters of the alphabet, sequentially, instead of according to sound vibration. This system is damaged, as our modern alphabet didn’t exist then. Interesting, the Pythagorean system formed the spiritual basis for many secret societies e.g. the Masons.

The Significance of the Number 9 - there were no letters with a value of 9 in the Chaldean alphabet, as they believed that 9 is the Universal Number, present within every other number. 9 rules all life & electrical energy. Add 9 to any other number & 9 will be absorbed. Multiply 9 by any number and it can’t be destroyed. Add it to its own multiple & it always comes back. Jesus’ number is 9. 9 is the number of Mars (action)... numbers speak directly to the subconscious. When a customer sees a double 9, an action message is sent to the brain – "buy/act now"! The mind tends to obey subliminal programming.

Example: Jane Doe
Western System becomes: (1+1+5+5) + (4+6+5) = 12+15 = 27 =(2+7) = 9
Chaldean System becomes: (1+1+5+5) + (4+7+5) = 12+16 = 28 = (2+8) = 10 = 1
